Update FOM_17.1:

Send a screencap of the matchscreen, the limit is 1 deck for each hero and a max of 9 decks.

Signing up will be postponed until 23:30h.

It’s allowed to send in your extra decks until 00:00h.

Poules will be postponed because of the power issues.
The poules should be played before 10:00h 12/09

Compo overview

Title: Hearthstone 1v1

Max teams: 128

Format: Conquest

Game type: Poules into Double Elimination

Players are to contact eachother via battle.net chat or face-2-face

Sign up:

You can sign up until Friday 22:00 on our website www.fom.be

Add your battletag to your notes while signing up (this is required!), the absence of this information may cause unwanted problems.

Gameplay (*)

Decks

All cards are allowed in the tournament.

Important: Banning is only required after the poule phase! During the poule phase, picks are the only part you need to do.

Before the match starts, both players mention their 4(brackets, 5 for the final) different heroes one by one.
They can do it in the matchchat or matchcomments. The Player on the left side of the match starts. With classban.com each player bans one hero of the opponent . The order you mentioned the heroes is not the order you have to play them!

Winner must change to a previously unused deck which has been selected for the match. 
Loser may keep or change his deck for a previously unused deck which has been selected for the match.

It is forbidden to change any deck as soon as the poule-phase begins, this goes for the remainder of the tournament.

All players are required to send an E-mail with their decklist to ducky@fom.be before the poule-phase begins. (23h)

Example:

• Player A chooses Druid.

• Player B chooses Warlock.

• Player A chooses Warlock.

• Player B chooses Hunter.

• Player A chooses Warrior.

• Player B chooses Rogue.

• Player A chooses Priest.

• Player B chooses Priest.

• Player A bans Priest of Player B.

• Player B bans Druid of Player A.

Result: Player A starts the first Game with his Warrior-Deck. Player B starts with his Warlock-Deck.

Winning, placement, advancement​

• The poule-phase matches are BO3

• The bracket matches are BO5

• The Grand Final is BO7. ( So you pick 5 heroes and ban 1. )

• Take a screenshot of every win/DC/loss and name it accordingly.

• Make sure a timestamp is visible on the screenshots for validity.

• If a round ends in a draw it must be replayed immediately without a break between games. ( Eg. Hellfire kills both heroes )

• The winner of the match moves on to the next game.

• 1^st loss moves you to the lower brackets, 2^nd loss means elimination.

• 3rd place is determined by a match during the final match between the losers from the semi final. (BO5) 

• Telling the admin you that you forfeit = forfeiting the entire tournament!

• Telling a player you forfeit = you give all wins to the player ( so 2-0 if BO3  and 3-0 if BO5)

Streaming

This is being discussed at the moment and will be updated.

Disconnects

Whenever a player disconnects remain at your seat until the game is over, there is always a chance that player might reconnect.

If a player disconnects during a game and is unable to re-connect to finish the game, that disconnecting player forfeits one game. There will be NO exceptions regardless of when the disconnect occured. If both players disconnect the game must be replayed immediately without a break between games.
