Registration & info
Registrations for the official competitions at Frag-o-Matic are possible on the intranet during the event. For most of the competitions you can register yourself and/or your team from Friday evening 18h until 24h, however the admin, who is the person in charge of the competition, can decide otherwise. During the competitions the main language is English, every participant in the competitions is expected to speak and understand enough of the English language to communicate efficiently. Most of the competitions start with poules to make sure that everyone has a minimum number of matches. The best players/teams go through to the brackets where they eliminate each other until the winner has been decided, the admin can also use a double elimination system. Every match, also the finals, has to be played before the prize ceremony at Sunday afternoon at 16h.!
Unlike previous editions, where you only could register your clan for compos on Friday-night, you can submit your compo-registration now for the Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4 and Counter-Strike 1.6 compos.
It will still be possible to register for these compos Friday-night during FoM untill 24h at the compo-desk.
Registration for other compos will also take place at this same compo-desk during FoM untill Friday-nigh 24h.
As first of many compo's that will take place during FoM 12.1 we announce the Counter-Strike: Source PRO compo. Thanks to the new trigger system, in which every participating player contributes an additional 10 euro to the prizepool, we will be able to give away € 3000 when 40 teams participate.
For this compo we provide atleast €1000,00 CASH (guaranteed), in addition to an amount of cash depending on how many teams register:
1st prize: €600,00 + Trigger CASH
2nd prize: €250,00 + Trigger CASH
3rd prize: €150,00 + Trigger CASH
This time we are going to work with a trigger system. The more teams that will participate the bigger the CASH prize! From the participating teams we ask €10,00 /participant that will go fully to the CASH prize.
--> 10 clans = €500,00 trigger cash on top of the €1000,00 = €1500,00 CASH total.
--> 15 clans = €750,00 trigger cash on top of the €1000,00 = €1750,00 CASH total.

The triggers will be shown clearly on our website. When a trigger is reached we shall report this on our website as a newspost (including a list of the paid teams).
The registrations are already open and there will be an extra payment option in the Paypal button on our registration form (see step 5). You may aswell pay the extra €10,00 separately with the same code as the first payment.
So you don't want to pay extra for the CS:Source Competition ?
No problem, Counter-Strike: Source teams that prefer not participating in this PRO compo may always participate with our CS:S GO-PRO compo. For this compo we don't ask for an extra fee. For this we have a great prize packet for the winning team but without cash.

Counter-Strike: Source - 5v5 PRO
Counter-Strike: Source remains one of the most popular first person shooter, with more than 30 teams participating in our last edition, we will split up this compo in a PRO-competition and a GO PRO-competition. The PRO-competition will have cash prizes depending on the number of participating teams, which all pay an extra fee. The GO PRO-competition will require no extra fee and will offer hardware prizes.
Frag-o-Matic confirms its reputation by organizing, once again, one of the most important CSS competitions in the Benelux.

Counter-Strike v1.6
FoM honors its traditions. CS 1.6 is the game which made FoM to the top-event it now is. For years we're one of the biggest CS 1.6 competitions in the Benelux, and we plan to keep it that way.

CoD 4 is still the most competitive version of Call of Duty and has always been a very popular game at Frag-o-Matic. You can be sure that there will be an exciting CoD4 compo at FoM 12.1.

The most popular and fastest racing game of the moment. Everyone can participate, since it's free for download. Winning is a different matter, looking at the pro-gamers that are participating, but at least it's worth a try.

Prizes
The winners of every offical competition receive a prize if they attend the prize ceremony. These prizes are given to FoM by its sponsors, in exchange we ask to the winners to respect them and accept to be photographed or filmed at the prize ceremony and to answer the questions of the interviewer(s). Because the prizes are given by sponsors, the number of prizes will be announced right before or during the event. The prize overview page will be updated before the event when prizes are known, but unsure prizes are not announced. A number of these prizes will be given to the winners of funcompo's.
