Conditions for entering the competition

• Each team has to pay an entrance-fee of 1 EUR at the compo desk.

• It’s best to register in time before the competition starts.

Tournament structure

• Every match is 2v2. Single elimination bracket.

• All matches are played until one of the teams reaches 11 goals.

The winner is:

• The team that first scores 11 goals.

Pre-game

• Every match is paid by Frag-o-Matic.

• A coin flip precedes the start of the match. The team that wins the flip has the choice of table side or first serve. The team who stands on the home side starts the match.

• If your opponent is a no-show, you may submit a forfeit at the compo desk for your opponent.

Rules

• The game starts with the ball stopped at the middle player of the five-man rod. The ball has to be touched by 2 different players on the same rod.

• Once a ball is put into play it remains in play until the ball is hit off the table, a dead ball is declared or a point is scored.

• A ball entering the goal counts as a point, as long as it was legally scored.

• When a point is scored the team who got scored upon resumes the game.

• If the ball is kicked out of the table, the ball is placed in the corner of the team who got scored upon last.

• You can only hold the ball on the same line for a maximum of 15 seconds. The 15 seconds also apply on the defense and goalkeeper line.
  (Defense line + goalkeeper line = 15 seconds)

• Each team is allowed to take a 1 min break during the game.

• You can make a technical stop when there is a defect with the table. When there’s a defect contact the admin immediately.

Not allowed

• Talking whilst playing.

• Spinning the rods during the game.

• Putting your hand into game, if you do put your hand into the game your opponent may add a point.

• Moving or lifting up the table.

• Bending the rods to reach the ball.

• Leaving the table without a valid motive.

• Interrupting your opponent in any way.
