9. The team captain may choose at any time to nominate another player in or manager of his team as team captain for any reason. Such nominations must be reported by the team captain, either in person or in writing, to the tournament admins before the game starts.

10. All official communication between a competing team and the tournament admins must be conducted by the team captain.

11. Clarification of any point in the rules is available from the tournament admins at any time during the tournament.

Tournament Structure and Schedule

2. Games may be scheduled to be played between 24:00 (start time) and 02:00 (scheduled end time of the last game) on Saturday and between 8:00 (start time) and 15:00 (scheduled end time of the last game) on Saturday/Sunday. It can be that the admin decides to start earlier or end later.

3. Each match will be scheduled for a specific start time and must be played at that time, failure to connect to the assigned server within 15minutes will result in a dispute. This dispute is to be taken up with the admin.

4. The schedule for the tournament may be subject to change at any time.

5. Games may be rescheduled to a later time, delayed, postponed or cancelled at any time by the tournament admins without prior notice.

6. Games will not be rescheduled to an earlier time in the same day if either of the teams has not yet played a game on that day without the consent of both team captains.

7. Where possible the tournament admins will notify any teams involved in a rescheduled game of the new match start time at least one (1) hour before either the new or the old starting time, whichever is earlier.

8. In the event a game is cancelled, the tournament admins will notify the teams involved as quickly as reasonably possible.

Match Rules

12. If any player alt-tabs out of the game and gets advantage in the game because of the flashbug, that player has to use the console command “retry” immediately after noticing this. Failure to do so will be considered as bug abuse and results in a forfeit loss.

13. No later than fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled starting time of a match, the team captains must contact one of the tournament admins to state that their team is ready to play and to get server information. No delays will be tolerated and being late will result in a forfeit loss.

14. Teams will be granted two (2) wild cards which can be used for delaying a match for (20) minutes. These wildcards may only be used when really needed (e.g.: technical issues).

  1. Each pool will exist out of 3-6 teams who will compete against each other to make it into the brackets.
  2. Each team within the pool needs to play against any other team within the pool. This 1 time 30 rounds (Play the full round because every win round counts). The map will be picked by
  3. Only 8-16 teams (depends on the number of teams) will make it to the bracket system.
  4. The bracket system will work with a winner’s bracket and a losers bracket were a BO3 (best of three) will be played. When a team wins 16 rounds he will win that map.
  5. Veto Rules will go as in the next schedule : First a knife round between the 2 teams will occur were the winner is Team A and the loser is Team B.  Next Team A will veto the first map followed Team B will veto the second map and the last Veto will be done again by Team A. Team A picks the first map to play on and Team B will pick the second map to play. The last map standing will be the 3th map thats only played when the first 2 maps result in a draw.
  6. For each map played in the pool the admin will provide a random map pick between those 6 maps.

Pool system:

A new pool system will be launched this year to ensure a fair game. All rounds won and lost counts. The next system is used :

  1. A win-loss ratio from a team between the rounds will count.
  2. For each win game u will receive 10 extra win rounds (so 16-14 becomes 21-14)
  3. The rankings within the pool will be decided by that ratio.
  4. The 2-4 teams (depends on the number of teams) with the highest ratio will go through to the bracket system were they will start in the winners bracket.

However, if an admin is hindered in their work because of bad match media names then it can be punished for.

As long as one of the players/teams is able to upload the knife round on admin request there will be no consequences for a missing knife round.  Protests regarding missing knife rounds are not valid.

In general defective or manipulated demos will be treated as missing demos. If the demo is incomplete the admin decided, if it also will be treated as missing demo.

Recording demos is recommended.  Our servers will likely record demos for every match but these are only used when there is doubt about a decision the admin has to make.

The waiting time for a dropped player is 10 minutes. If the player or a substitute rejoins the server and both teams are ready, the game can be resumed.

If the player, or a substitute player does not connect within that time then the match is continued 4on5, or 4on4 if the opposing team agrees.
