The ticket fee for payments through bank transfer or Paypal is 35,00 EUR. You can pay through bank transfer until 17 sep 2010 and through Paypal until 21 sep 2010 at 22h. Tickets at the entrance will be available for 50,00 EUR.

You can pay by bank transfer until September 17, 2010. You have to give the "payment code" from your FOM registration mail in the comment text of your bank transfer (Belgian payments) or if you are paying from other countries or for a whole group then please write the nick names of the people which you are paying for in the comment text section. LAN stands for Local Area Network. The idea is to connect the PC's or laptops of participants with each other through a fast local network. The computers and a single UTP cable are being brought by the participants of the LANparty (you can also buy UTP cables at the event) and the network equipment & servers are being taken care of by FoM and their crew. When your PC has been connected to the network you can play any game you like against the other participants without any delay. Every server on the LAN is fast and lag doesn't exist anymore.

Internet Access

Basic Internet access will be provided (web surfing). If you want to play your favourite MMOG online at FoM, such as World of Warcraft, then please ask for instructions at the helpdesk or mail to info@fom.be in advance if you want to be sure.

What do you have to bring with you?

- 1 PC or portable with 1 monitor (+ keyboard & mouse)
- Headphones (speakers are not allowed!)
- Power cables & plugs for your equipment
- UTP cable cat. 5 (length: at least 20m), no wireless network at the event! You can buy an UTP cable at the event.
- Could be usefull: drivers & installation CD''s (if something goes wrong with your PC)
- Identity card or driver's license if possible for the check-in at the event
- Sleeping bag & air mattress if you don't want to book a hotel room (there's a special room at the event where you can sleep)
- Towel/soap/tooth paste/deo/make-up/... & some fresh clothes

What else can you bring with you?

- Your own ergonomic chair (there's a plastic chair provided by FoM for every participant)
- Some food & drinks (cold drinks and hot snacks are also available at FoM)

What IS NOT allowed?

- Speakers are not allowed! Other loud equipment is also not allowed.
- Tents are not allowed!
- Downloading or sharing illegal files on the network (or ''software piracy'') is against the law in Belgium (read our point of view here (Dutch))
- Playing/showing pornographic material on your monitor/display is not allowed
- Heavy electronic equipment: coffee machine, fridge, ... (mail info@fom.be in case of doubt) is not allowed
- Everyting else that is not allowed according to the rules and you also have to follow the instructions of the FoM crew at the event!

Parking

Parking spots are free of charge. When arriving at the Oktoberhallen a crewmember will advise you where you can park your car, you have to follow his instructions in order to avoid chaos at the parking. When a crewmember approaches you while parking your car and he suggests you to park your car somewhere else then you will have to follow his instructions.

At all times it is forbidden to block an emergency exit with your car. The road and the entrance and exit of the emercency road must always be accessible. (This road leads to the right gate when you stand in front of the halls.)

Emergency exits

Emergency exits are only being used in emergency situations! Aslong as there is no evacuation you must leave the hall by its normal entrance and exit.

As always, visitors who do not bring their own computer, have free access to Frag-o-Matic. The rules below only apply to these non-paying visitors.

Visiting hours

Visitors will have to check-in at the entrance an will have to respect certain hours on wich they can visit FoM. Visitors are allowed on:

Friday: 18.00 - 01.00
Saturday: 09.00 - 01.00
Sunday: 09.00 - end of LAN

Outside these hours, visitors will not be allowed to pass the entrance. If you want to stay at FoM as a visitor, then you will have to stay inside the hall during the night.

Backpacks

Backpacks from visitors are not allowed in the halls. You can leave your backpack at the entrance (reception). You will receive a number wich you give back when you are planning to leave the event. Do not loose this number! Valuable things such as your wallet, cellphone,... are allowed in the halls.

Small handbags and camera/film equipment are still allowed.

Frag-o-Matic offers the opportunity to bring your own sleeping gear (airbed, sleeping bag, pillow,…). There will be a separate room where you can recharge yourself quietly during the night. If you like more comfort, then you can book a room at one of the following nearby hotels.
