Rulebook

1. Compo overview

• Title: Trackmania Nations Forever
• Start Tournament: Saturday 17/09/12 at 03:00 (AM)

2. Teams & participants

• When everyone enters the server to start the match, all players should be using their clan tag and nickname which they used during the subscription. In case of conflict, these will be used to perform a look up query in the server logs.
• By registering and participating in the TMNF competition, players agree to the general rulebook issued by Frag-o-Matic and the TMNF-specific rulebook.

3. Matches

1. In case of a disconnect, you should reconnect to the server as soon as possible. You'll lose the current round, unless you can proof that you're not the one to blame (general power outage/network down caused by a malfunctioning switch/...)
2. In case of a servercrash, the entire map has to be re-played.
3. Every participant should respect the scheduled deadlines.
4. The server chooses randomly 1 of the 3 maps from the maplist.
5. All 3 maps have to be played, resulting in a winner with the highest total score. 
6. The cupmode is rounds, every map consists out of 7 rounds.
7. Every map starts with 1 warm-up round.
8. All matches are 1vs1vs1vs1 (except for the time attack round).
9. During the match everyone joins 1 server (in case of a large number of subscriptions, multiple servers will be available). At the server every participant will play at the same time 2 maps in time attack mode (time limit: 15 mins.)
10. Based on the scores of the time attack rounds, players will be divided over the brackets, which then will be driven by using rounds mode.

5. Ranking

1. Cuptypes mentioned on the website are with reservations (depending on the number of subscriptions). 
2. The finals of the Double elimination are the winners from the winner brackets vs. the winners from the loser brackets. The final winner of this final is the winner of the competition (so the there won't be a replay of the final if the winner of the loser bracket wins). 

6. Servers

1. All competition matches will be played on servers provided by Frag-o-Matic. 
   Exceptions can only by made with consent of the compo admin. 
2. The servers will be configured with a password, this password can be received from the admins. 

7. Cheating & Exploits

1. Every form of cheating is strictly forbidden. If a player gets caught, his entire team will be removed from the competition. 

8. Competition rules: general

8.1 Server Crashes

1. If a server would crash, the match will be postponed, and as soon as possible played on a different server.
2. When both teams agree on the temporary score of before the crash, this will be the starting score for the continued match (taking screenshots is adviced!). If a conflict would arise, and no evidence is provided; the match has to be replayed from the start.

8.2 Other

1. If Frag-o-Matic provides servers, all competition matches will be played on these servers. If there should be a need to play on different servers, this can only be allowed with consent of the compo admin and both teams.
2. Respawning is allowed
3. Each team is given 2 time-outs per match.
4. If a player leaves the server during a match (pinged-out), a team can call a time-out after the end of the current round.
5. Every time-out lasts at most 5 mins.
6. If the player can't reconnect within these 5 minutes, the other team can demand that the match will be continued immediately.
