StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty 1vs1


1. General Rules

  • Players must have an active Battle.net account with a legal Europe Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty edition on it.
  • Players will have to register their username + identifier when they sign up for the Starcraft 2 competition.
  • Players are required to save all their tournament games. These replays will be used in problem situations. If none of the players can deliver the replays, the match has to be replayed no matter what.
  • The last official patch will be used in the tournament. Be sure to update your client before packing at home.
  • In case of problems regarding the internet, battle.net, a computer or monitor that game will have to be replayed.
  • If there is a discussion between both players regarding the tournament, both players will have to come to the compo desk and explain the problem to the Starcraft 2 admins. they will decide what to do. The Starcraft 2 admins for FoM 15.0  are Willy ‘willonic’ Alde and Aveline ‘Miserie’ Estié.

2.2 Sign in:

  • Players are only allowed to pause a tournament game in case of hardware or connection problems. If a player pauses the game without a valid reason, he’ll get a warning.
  • Players are allowed to chat in a tournament game. They’ll have to do this in a proper way and do it with good sportsmanship. If a player offends another player, he’ll get a warning.
  • Players aren’t allowed to see their opponents monitor. If you get caught while doing this, in any form whatsoever, you’ll be disqualified from the tournament.
  • While playing a tournament game it is required to switch your status to “busy”. If you get caught with another status you’ll get a warning.
  • When you get caught while cheating or hacking, in any form whatsoever, you’ll be disqualified from the tournament.
  • The player with the highest seed hosts the tournament game. When the game gets live streamed it will be hosted by a Registered live streamer. He’ll invite both players.
  • Only compo admins and Registered livestreamers can join a tournament game as an observer. If a player invites another observer in the game, he’ll get a warning.
  • In case of a disconnect a rematch will be played, unless the admin can confirm that 1 player was ahead. In that case that player is ahead by 1 game. The admin has final call.
  • If an observer disconnects in-game, both players continues with their game. The tournament game has to be continued.
  • In case of a tie ( detected by Starcraft 2 in-game or when both players agree on a tie situation) the tournament game has to be played again.
  • If a player gets 2 warnings he’ll be disqualified from the tournament. In this case, his opponent will get a free win. If this happens in a bracket match, that player will also advance to the next round.

Tournament Format
Group play with max 5 players per group.
Top 2 per group will advance to double elimination bracket RO32/RO64.
In case of tie’s, we will look at the individual map scores, if it’s still a tie, another BO3 will be played amongst the tied players..
All games will be BO3, only the finals will be BO5.
Players will be seeded according to ladder activity (league, followed by ladder points)





Compo rules:
Final check in at 22.00.
Group play starts at 24.00 and will end at 13.00.
Bracket play will start at 14.00 and will end at 01:00 on sunday. Between 01.00 and 08.00 on Saturday/Sunday, no matches can be played (unless confirmed with admins).
The battle for the 3rd, 2nd and 1st place will be on sunday, hours will follow.
Scores will be admitted through the admins.
All players have to be in the chatchannel fom1vs1.
