In less than two hours the maximum team limit was already reached for the exclusive Medal of Honor: Warfighter competition! Participants will be able to showcase their skills in the gamemode called Homerun.

Homerun is a gametype where there are two teams: the attackers and the defenders. Both teams have different objectives to accomplish:

  • Attackers win the round when they eliminate the entire enemy team or if they can retrieve the flag from the enemy base and bring it to the attacker home base.
  • Defenders win a round if they eliminate the entire enemy team or fend off the enemy team until the round is over.

The winners of this competition will take home a limited edition of the game (Game + T-shirt + beta access for Battlefield 4) and an awesome Medal of Honor: Warfighter steelbook! The second place will receive a steelbook and a T-shirt, and the 3rd place also takes home a T-shirt.

Next to those extra goodies like the steelbooks, we also have more good news! After reviewing our time schedule, we have decided to open up registrations again to a maximum of 16 teams! This means that the First 6 teams who register will also play in a Benelux-first multiplayer game of Medal of Honor: Warfighter!

We've published a small set of rules on the MoH:WF compo page. These rules are based on matches that were played at Gamescom. Because we can only have people play the matches when an EA employee is present, the play times are limited: Saturday from 12h until 19h and Sunday from 11h30 until 15h30.

Participants can review everything at: http://www.fom.be/compos/view/28

The full time schedule will be announced on Friday evening.

Below is a short video explaining the game mode Homerun:

To give everyone a chance at playing this new game as one of the first players, there will be several play moments open to the public at selected time periods. These playing periods will be communicated via our beamers and will also be announced several times through the microphone and speaker system.
