If there is a discussion between both players regarding the tournament, you both will have to come to the compo desk and explain the problem to the dedicated admins. They will decide what to do.

All players must join the AoE2 channel in the FoM Discord server. Most of the communication between the admins and the players will happen there. In case of issues joining this group, contact an admin in-game.
When checking in, don’t forget to give your seat number, this will help you find your opponent or your opponent finding you in case of an AFK.
Scores will be admitted through the Frag-o-Matic website (www.fom.be). If an admin is available scores can be submitted through them as well.

Civ pick: Players are free to pick a civilization of their own choice.
Before the match
Players must be online and available at the designated times of their match. A 15 minute grace period applies.
All players must show initiative to contact their opponent. If your opponent is not responding in-game, the seatmap must be used to physically contact your opponent. In case of an AFK, the admin must be notified.
During the match
No unapproved programs may be running during any matches. Acceptable programs may be determined by an admin, but generally include: music, hardware monitoring, antivirus.
Players may not communicate with anyone during their game besides their opponent and admins.
All forms of laming are allowed.
Pauses for issues not related to either connection or hardware are not allowed. Pausing the game without a valid reason will result in a warning.
Players are allowed to chat in a tournament game. They’ll have to do this in a proper way and do it with good sportsmanship. Inappropriate chatter will result in a warning.
Use of game bugs is not allowed. In case a bug is used, intentionally or not, the administration will decide whether a game should carry on or be restarted, replayed or forfeited.
Restarts
An administrative restart can be called by the players within 2:00 minute of in game time in the following cases:
- if a starting unit doesn’t have a path to the TC;
- if a starting resource did not spawn;
- if a starting resource is not properly accessible
In case of gold, stone and berries, if less than 5 sides of the entire pile are directly accessible, or if no drop off point can be built next to it;
In case of wild animals and herdables, if they don’t have a path to the TC. If the other player doesn't agree with the call, the game files should be sent to an
administrator. If the restart was abusive, and the player calling the restart won the game eventually, decisions will be made by administrators to the best of their ability.
After the match
Both players must submit and confirm the result of a match. This can be done on the website or through an admin.
Each replay needs to be named correctly in the following format: [name player 1] vs [name player 2] - [stage name, like WB RO1] - [round number]. This way, the admins can organize them in an easier manner in case the admins need to take a look at them.
Cheating
Any form of cheating will not be tolerated. If an admin determines a player is cheating they will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament and may be restricted from participating in future events.
Seeing your opponent's monitor is also considered cheating.
Collusion and Match Fixing: players are not allowed to intentionally alter the results of any match. If an admin determines matches were fixed, the offending player(s) will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament and may be restricted from participating in future events. Players must compete to the best of their abilities at all times (fair play!).
Observers
Compo admins and registered livestreamers can at all times request to join a tournament game. Other observers are only allowed when both players agree. Repeatedly inviting unwanted observers will result in a warning.
Observer who slow down the game or have connection issues must leave the game as soon as possible. Tournament games with observers leaving for whatever reason will not be replayed because of it.
3. Compo Structure
All games in group phase will be played as a Best Of One.
All games in bracket phase will be played as a Best Of Three.
Group phase: The amount of groups will depend on the amount of sign-ups:
up to 8: 2 groups
up to 20: 4 groups
20-32 signups: 6 groups
32-48 signups: 8 groups
48-64 signups: 12 groups
In case of a tie in the group standings, we will look at individual map scores. If it still is a tie, a decider match will be played between the tied players.
Brackets: Single Elimination Best of 3. Players will be seeded based on the results of the group phase. All matches (including the finals) will be BO3
