The groups for the FIFA competition will be put online Saturday morning between 10:00 and 11:00.
The groups for the CS: Source competition are now online on BinaryBeast. Here is the schedule of the group matches as they are displayed on the competition website:
Round 1: 10:00

Round 3: 12:00

Round 5: 15:00
After the groups, the first 2 teams of each group advance to the double elimination brackets. The winner of the group starts in the upper bracket, the second team of each group starts in the lower bracket.
All upper bracket games will be played Best of 3, while lower bracket games are best of one.

Further on, all problemens releated to the seatmap should be solved: you shouldn't be forced anymore to first pick your seat, but you can still do that by visiting the seat picker right here.

To Sign up for the League of Legends 5v5 Official compo has allready started.
Your team captain needs to sign up under the clan name he can do this by signing up on the website http://binarybeast.com ,
Then he needs to go to this url http://binarybeast.com/xLoL1109220 then you need to click join this tournament, now you team is signed up.
To make your signup official (and valid) you need to come with 5 players of your league of legends team to the Compo-Desk. The compodesk team will confirm the registration to the League of legends 5v5 Official compo.
Now you are all set to play in the tournament.
please be advised that you can join IRC to find your opponents also check the Fom and Fom-Leagueoflegends website for updates.

Today we'll start with the official Starcraft 2 Competition @ Frag-O-Matic v13.1. In this post you'll find everything you need to know as a participant of this competition. Please spread the word to the people that don't read this.
The tournament will start with a group stage. Because the ammount of players we'll have a total of 8 groups. With 6 players in each group.

In order to join a competition you must create an account on http://www.binarybeast.com (1 account per team is enough). It is easier to use your Facebook Login. Don't forget to click link in the activation e-mail, you will not be able to participate without an account!
When you have done this, you can go to the tournament page of your competition(Found in the sidebar of your competition page on the website of Frag-o-Matic). Go to your tournament by clicking the logo of BinaryBeast on our website on the page of your competition. Join your competition by clicking the button that states "Join this tournament". When you have done this, report yourself at your designated competition admin. The admins are located at the compodesk, except FIFA and QuakeLive. These 2 admins can be found in the hall at their clan:
Saturday the first edition of FOMCON takes place, a small gaming venue where you can play the newest games! A nice surprise: EA gives us the possibility to test out Battlefield 3! A hands-on of this popular game on the PS3! Those who attend the LAN will be able to play this game. If you are a visitor then don't hesitate anymore to bring a visit to the greatest gaming festival of Belgium! Herer you can read the full FoMCON program:
An event like Frag-o-Matic always gets the attention from various media partners, e-sports related and other game sites. Here's a list with all the confirmed partners which you can expect some news from like competition coverage, atmosphere footage and video's.
9lives is the biggest gaming portal of Belgium, they will be sending some newsposters to report about the event. Next to that they will be making a video compilation on Saturday. Furthermore they have provided us with dozens of games and Gunk magazines, they will be used as prizes for our fun competitions.
Memia TV will shoutcast/livestream multiple COD4 matches with their shoutcaster Mennace. Other games will be livestreamed/shoutcasted with Bescene and the FoM crew.
Bescene.net has been around for many editions and they won't miss this one either! They will focus on the official competitions such as SCII, LoL,... Bescene.net will shoutcast the SCII matches.
4Gamers.be will be present during FOM and next to some coverage you will be able to win a CM Storm Spawn or CM Storm Enforcer!
Powerplay is an upcoming game site who will report about our event on Saturday, a video compilation will be made which you can watch after FoM.
Gamelux will be sending a newsposter to fully coverage the SCII competition. Next to that we may expect a lanreport with lots of photo's.
All clans are placed and FoM13.1 is ready to set sail!
Because of the many clan changes in the recent weeks, many clans are moved, and unfortunately not all applications can be met.
All clans are seated together, participants coming solo can pick a white spot from the seatplan.
The gray areas are reservations for clans whose members have not yet paid.
Tones.be, the well known hardware shop from Belgium with establishments in Ghent, Mechelen and Heist o/d Berg will be present at Frag-o-Matic. Tones.be will have wide variëty of products available such as network cables and power cables. Next to that they will be capable to do some PC repairing as well.7
Thanks to Tones.be FoM will have the game launch of F1 2011. You will be able to test this new race game as one of the first players on one of the three playseats with PC screens! Next to that they will have a few competitions where you can win some really nice prizes!
Tones.be provides FoM in coöperation with CoolerMaster 10 high-end gaming PC's where you will be able to play the newest games such as TrackMania ² Canyon, Pirates of Black Cove, Wasteland Angel and Bloodline Champions.
Sunday this PC-corner will be replaced to the main stage. During sunday we will host a few stage finals with livestreaming and shoutcasting, e-sports at its finest!
What is required to participate in fom?
A FoM Ticket of course!
Do not forget to print your ticket and to check whether your ticket is assigned or not.

We will provide two different entrance lines, the "Fast Lane" and "Special Care lane"
A word of explanation:
Participants who have paid and printed their ticket, and bring their identity card, will be helped the fastest on the fast lane.
The 'Special Care lane" is a row for participants who didnt bring their ticket or are having problems printing/paying.
What to bring, or not to.

Some Tips towards the participants:
1. Dont forget to label/mark your sleepingbag or air mattress.
2. Bring along the necessary software and drivers for your computer.
3. Provide a long UTP cable.
4. No external power supplies with large consumers or embedded lights.
5. Definitely dont forget to pick up some cash before entering the lan, because of the many maintenances on the road, ATMs are not readily accessible.
6. Check the game on the latest updates.
7. Certainly bring your id card, it is necessary to identify yourself.
8. Make sure your firewall and antivirus are turned on.
9. IP addresses are automatically distributed, so please make sure to check that all network settings are standard.
Although we game a lot on our computers it is always fun to strech our legs and go have some fun on consoles! This edition again there will be a big console corner during Frag-o-Matic 13.1: Pirates with some fantastic competitions!
You might come to our event by car. But it doesn't mean, just because you have your drivers license you can really drive a car! We have 2 racing seats for you available where you can do a 1v1 battle in a very powerful but hard to handle car. This is only for real racers! A great prize will be available to win!
Our 2nd competition is a classic which is a lot of fun to play but this doesn't mean you don't win by just spamming the buttons. Most of these matches create a lot of tension and exciting game. Show you can fight and win a great prize!

For those of you that won't be attending Frag-o-Matic 13.1 (shame on you!), there is some good news!
We'll be shoutcasting some of the matches and finals of the official tournaments of this edition.

Are you almost ready for the gaming event of the year? We too! It took a while but in the end it all worked out pretty well! The rulebooks of the Frag-o-Matic Quake Live and FIFA competitions are online.

Larian Studios, the biggest Belgian gaming studio that won multiple awards for the titles 'Divinity' and the game 'Monkey Tales' will attend FoMCON as well. The studio is currently working on a new title called "Dragon Commander" which had a succesfull launch at Gamescom. Larian will present this new game with a preview/trailer and all those who have questions about this game or the gaming-industry can ask them towards the larian team . A lead designer, designer, programmer and a QA tester will be present.
Next to that they are organising a funcompetition from the known game Monkey Tales. The one who can achieve the highest score wins some very unique dragon beer!
Nex to that they are sponsoring multiple funcompetitions with prizes:
5x unique Dragon Knight Saga artbooks (not available in EU), signed by the whole team;

For this edition of Frag-o-Matic, the crew has come up with an entire new system to make parking and unloading much easier.
In contrast with previous editions the gate will be closed till 5pm.
At 5pm you can enter the parking lot and start queing to check-in.
Please check in without any equipment, but don't forget your ticket!
When you are checked in, you may enter the unloading zone with your car.
This way everyone can unload their gear at the entrance.
Our parking crew will guide you through the entire process when you arrive.
Their instructions must be followed at all times!

If you still don't have your tickets, the only option is to pay through PayPal. We've scheduled to keep accepting these payments until Tuesday the 20th of September, but the way it looks now, we'll probably have to close that gateway earlier since we'll probably be full by then!
This also means, that chances are little that there will be tickets sold at the entrance!
Also an important remark: there are many clans that claimed seats on the seatmap for all of their members, but only 1 or 2 members of the clan have paid. If we're full, we're full: we won't make any exception for clans that are incomplete because they didn't pay in time.
We know this might cause problems, but this is why we keep repeating that paying your tickets in time is the only guarantee to be able to participate in our events.
For the FoM 13.1 Call of Duty 4 tournament, CoolerMaster and CM Storm are providing a bunch of fantastic prizes. On top of that we've also got a nice CASH PRIZE for the winners.
