3e plaats: €90
Game Mode: Standard TFT (Normal).
Patch Version: The latest live patch available at the time of the event.
Platform: Players must use Riot's official client (PC).
Lobby Size: Lobbies will be formed of up to 8 players.
Note for 18-32 players: Depending on the final count, some lobbies may contain 6 or 7 players. Scoring remains consistent regardless of lobby size.
The tournament spans three days and uses a Swiss System followed by a Checkmate Final.
Phase 1: The Warm-up (Friday)
Players play 2 games.
Purpose: These games are for seeding purposes only.
Performance here determines which lobby you are placed in for the start of Phase 2. Points do not carry over to Saturday.
Phase 2: The Swiss Stage (Saturday)
Players play 6 games total.
Reseeding: After every 2 games , lobbies are shuffled. Players are grouped with others who have a similar total score.
Example: The Top 8 performing players go to Lobby A, the next 8 to Lobby B, etc.
The Cut: After 6 games, the Top 8 players with the highest cumulative score advance to Sunday.
Phase 3: Grand Finals - Checkmate Format (Sunday)
The Top 8 players compete in a single lobby.
Winning Condition:
A player must first earn 18 points (The Threshold).
Once a player has met the threshold, they are "Checkmate Ready."
A "Checkmate Ready" player wins the tournament immediately by finishing 1st place in any subsequent game.
The tournament ends the moment a qualified player takes 1st place. Remaining placements are decided by total points.
Game Start: All players must join their assigned lobbies within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.
Lobby Creation: designated lobby leaders will create the lobbies and invite players.
Reconnects: Players experiencing technical issues must notify an admin immediately. Matches will generally not pause for disconnections unless the issue is on the server side/venue side.
Cheating: Any form of cheating (e.g., third-party software, account sharing, stream sniping) results in immediate disqualification.
Mobile: Playing on Mobile/Tablet is allowed but at your own risk regarding connection stability.
Points are awarded after each game based on placement.
| Placement | Points |
| 1st | 8 |
| 2nd | 7 |
| 3rd | 6 |
| 4th | 5 |
| 5th | 4 |
| 6th | 3 |
| 7th | 2 |
| 8th | 1 |
Note: In a lobby of fewer than 8 players (e.g., 7 players), the scoring remains 8 points for 1st, 7 for 2nd, etc.
Tiebreakers:
In case of a tie in total points at the end of Saturday (to decide Top 8), the following order is used:
Total number of 1st place finishes.
Total number of Top 4 finishes.
Best placement in the most recent game played.
Equipment: Players are responsible for their own peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset). PCs will be provided unless stated otherwise.
Account: Players must log in with their own Riot Games account.
Reporting: The winner of each lobby (or top 3) must screenshot the post-game scoreboard and report it to the Admin immediately.
Dispute Resolution: All decisions by the Admin are final. Disputes must be raised immediately after a match concludes.
Lobby Balancing: The Admin reserves the right to adjust lobby sizes (e.g., changing 4 lobbies of 6 into 3 lobbies of 8) if players drop out.
Streaming: Players may stream their perspective, but with at least a 2-minute delay to avoid unfair advantages (sniping).
Substitutes: Substitutions are not allowed once Phase 2 (Saturday) has started.
Late Arrivals: Players arriving more than 15 minutes late to the first game of the day may forfeit that specific game (taking 0 points).
