A new updated version of the seatmap for Frag-o-Matic 13.1: Pirates has been released.
As we've communicated earlier, clans that have paid their entrance tickets for Frag-o-Matic: 13.1 may choose their seats. However we've noticed that a couple of the clans on this seatmap didn't pay yet all of their tickets, these seats are marked in grey. If we don't receive the remaining payments soon, we'll be forced to remove these clans from the seatmap so we can make room for clans that did pay all of their tickets.

Also note that at this point, we won't be replacing clans anymore. Clans of 1 or 2 persons are not shown on the map, they may choose one of the free spots.
Gameservers.com, which is known for over 6 years for their powerful gameservers,
sponsors 4 Call of duty Black ops servers with xKMod.
These gameservers will be available for all COD.B.O clans participating in the official compo.
Thanks to the collaboration with Treyarch, the servers are ranked.
The settings of the servers will be approached as close as possible to the standards of ESL / CB.
These servers are not on advance request, and will only be used in the officially compo's.

Bloodline Champions is so far a relatively unknown game but that might change soon because of the big changes they've made recently to make the game more popular with a bigger target audience.
Bloodline Champions is made by Stunlock Studios, a young Swedish game development studio that started fresh out of college.
BLC is an action-packed MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) style game, where the goal is to annihilate your enemies in three different gamemodes: Arena, Conquest and Capture the Artifact. It is a highly competitive game with the focus on eSports and player skill, rather than leaving the match outcome up to chance.
Stunlock Studios has decided to very generously sponsor every FoM 13.1 participant with a Bloodline Champions Starter Key with an estimated value of €20. This key enables you to permanently unlock 4 Heroes (called Bloodlines), get rid of the weekly cap on the amount of Blood Coins (ingame currency) you can earn, as well as $5 worth of Funcom Points (real money points in-game)! Next to that, they will also sponsor some Champion Keys (est. value: €30) and Titan Keys (est. value: €90) for various funcompos!

These rules will be used for all the competitions on Frag-o-Matic 13.1. They contain what is allowed and what isn't; also the maps and configuration regulations are included and an explanation on how the competition will be runned.

Due to circumstances, the Quake Live rules are not yet online!
We encourage everybody to join the IRC channels on the event. This way you have instant communication with your oppontent to play your matches more quickly as well as having direct contact with your compo admin from your seat! Also our helpdesk, and most of our crew will be available on IRC.
To use IRC you have to use a IRC client such as mIRC. The channels you can join will all be named #fom.(compo) , e.g. #fom.css. Be sure to be in your channels of your competitions.
In connection with Frag-O-Matic 13.1 there will be a small Pré FoM Cup for Starcraft II organised by Bescene and sponsored by Steelseries. The prizes will be given at Frag-O-Matic by the Starcraft II admin Orph4nus. Participating is definitely advised since the prize packet is really worth it!

Extra : When we have 32 or more signups for the tournament there will be an extra prize for the winner. This will be the 5Hv2 MOH Headset from Steelseries. On top of this there will also be a small prize for the most unfortunate participant of the tournament, chosen by the Bescene livestreamers.
The tournament will be on Sunday, the 18th of September. It's really simple to sign yourself up. Just post a comment on the Bescene article wich can be found HERE, with your Starcraft II nickname + identifier. The tournament will go live arround 13h35. Be sure to join the #Bescene channel at IRC on Quakenet. Also join the Bescene channel in Starcraft II. These 2 channels will provide a really smooth communication while the event is live. Bescene will also stream this event with Willonic as Shoutcaster.

Now that we're really getting close to the start of Frag-o-Matic 13.1, it's time for some important information concerning payments and ticketing. Frag-o-Matic is virtually fully booked: all available tickets have been ordered, but not all of them are paid. Because we need to get an insight into the final amount of participants due to practical considerations, we've decided to speed up the ticketing process: we'll be bringing more tickets into circulation than seats available.
The absolute limit of participants is 800 seats: when we reach that point we won't be accepting any new payments anymore, not even at the entrance of the event!
DEADLINE for payment via Bank transfer:
Bank transfer is possible up to and including Friday the 16th of September! After that, payment will only be possible by using PayPal.
DEADLINE for payment via PayPal:
PayPal payments are accepted up to and including Tuesday the 20th of September (20:00)!
So if you didn't order your tickets yet, or if you did order them but you didn't complete the payment: now is the time!

We would also like to remind you that you can also order tickets for your entire team. This is a clean and easy way to make sure that all your friends and clan members will have their seat during the gaming event of the year!

Frag-o-Matic is getting closer, so we would like to remind you that gameserver and clanserver requests are still possible!

If you want to bring a gameserver, you'll have to fill in this document, afterwards you will recieve a email with the correct IP settings, so you can configure your server before the lan.

Like previous editions, we'll be hosting compo- and public-servers, and we're giving you the possibility to request your free gameserver or voiceserver.
To request a gameserver, persons with a ticket, may fill in this form.
If your serverrequest is validated, you will receive your serverdetails by mail.
Electronic Arts, for many this isn't an unknown company, in case you're still doubting then think of the legendary words 'Challenge Everything' and you know who we are dealing with. One of the biggest game developing and distributing companies of the world will be present during FoMCON.
For many gamers the game Battlefield 3 will be the game of the year so EA will have a nice presentation with Q&A of BF3 during FoMCON. After their attendance at E3 and Gamescom where they already received multiple awards they now will showcase BF3 during FoM. To complete the BF3 mania every participant and visitor receives a cool BF3 goodie!

And that's not everything! The FIFA games have been played for many years during FoM, always with a great competition and nice prizes. That's why EA will hold a unique PS3 FIFA12 competition with some cool prizes from EA!

Frag-o-Matic will be all about Pirates! Our theme departement is making sure that when you enter the event, you'll feel like you're on the set of Pirates of the Carribean!
To really create a Pirates atmosphere, we encourage participants to dress up like real pirates! The best-dressed pirate at our event will receive big booty! The Pirate Council of Frag-o-Matic will decide if you are a worthy pirate during our event!

Nitro Games is a Finnish studio and they are specialized in pirate games! They are the true masters of knowledge when it goes about everyting concerning pirates. They have already made multiple games and during FoMCON we will be able to learn about their newest game called Pirates of Black Cove.
Octane Games, a sister company of Nitro Games has just launched their newest title called Wasteland Angel. It's an indie game that brings a lot of nostalgic feelings with it thanks to its arcade style.
"Outfitted with a heavily armored car, unlimited firepower and a thirst for vengeance, our Heroine - the Wasteland Angel roams the radioactive wastes, travelling from one God-forsaken town to the next, protecting survivors from being enslaved. She's on a mission, to defend those that can't defend themselves.
Wasteland Angel is a nostalgic throw-back to the era of vintage arcade shooters where players fend off waves of enemies and ultimately face-off against epic end-level bosses. From a top-down isometric view, players pilot the Wasteland Angel's overpowered vehicle as its dual machine guns cut a swath across the terrain. To handle whatever the gangs, muties and renegades throws her way, Wasteland Angel has upgradeable ammo that can rip enemies from this life and toss them into the next one."
Unfortunately nobody from the Nitro Games and Octane Games people can attend FoMCON, so that's why the FoM crew will organize a competition with their newest game: Wasteland Angel, as they delivered us lots of game copies so we can run the competition smoothly. Obviously we will provide this competition with some nice prizes too! Next to that you will be able to test the game yourself during FoMCON. So basically everyone will still notice the Nitro Games presence. Also, for both games we have planned some playsessions during the event.

What would Frag-O-Matic be without its fun competitions! This year's summer edition they are BACK! Theme related and non theme related!
Most competitions will be announced during the event but there are some competitions we MUST inform you in advance! And only those with great dedication will be able to win these!
Be a Pirate!..It sounds easy but is it? The best-dressed pirate at our event will recieve big booty! The Pirate Council of Frag-o-Matic will decide if you are a worthy pirate during our event!
To be a real Pirate you need to have the skill to find a treasure! To show you are able to do this, be prepared for clues popping up at the event!!

Also there are some gaming competitions pure for the fun! Meaning there might not be a prize to win but we do it for the love of the game!

Today we announce the last PC competition. We are sorry for this late announcement but there is a reason for this. Since this game runs completely over the internet we had to make sure we have good internet lines so you can play the game at a fast pace without any lagg. This competition is, as said before, a fast paced game. It's a 1v1 First Person shooter that you can play in your browser and the best this is.. It is FREE!!! Lads and gents, this is the Quake: Live competition!

FoMCON, the name has been above the site now for a while but what does it mean? During FoM 13.1: Pirates we will have our first edition of FoMCON, a gaming venue where game-related companies can showcase their products and/or organising competitions for. The venue will take place on Saturday the 24th of September.
The fun part about FoMCON is that not only you can see the newest games or you can have a small talk with the makers of the game but the venue is totally free as well! Visitors can still visit the lanparty at no cost, same counts for FoMCON. Participants of the lanparty have a nice addition as extra entertainment and who knows they might get something extra...
Already three partners have confirmed to participate in FoMCON. Electronic Arts is going to attend FoMCON after their attendenance during E3 and Gamescom, showcasing their upcoming FPS title Battlefield 3. Next to a preview of Battlefield 3 you will be able to play FIFA12 as well. EA will be holding a FIFA12 competition with some great prizes from EA!
As the second partner we can announce our Belgian biggest gaming studio called Larian Studios. They will presentating their newest game called Dragon Commander. Dragons with jetpacks, do I need to say more?! What else they are planning during FoMCON will be announced later...
In the far north, in Finland to be exactly, there's a studio called Nitro Games. They are the one and only masters of knowledge when it's all about pirates and they already released multiple pirate games. Unfortunatly they can't attend FoMCON but FoM will be holding a competition with their newest game called Pirates of Black Cove as well as some play sessions.

As the title sounds it is true we have to announce some adaptations to our prizes. Due to some reactions from the community we've decided to make some changes in the prize purses of some of our competitions.
After a discussion with the Frag-o-Matic competition team we have decided the following changes:
The total prize purse of the whole Frag-o-Matic LAN competion will not be unchanged so we still have €10.000,00 worth of hardware and/or cash prizes waiting for you! So be prepared for more competitions to be announced when they are comfirmed!
We always try to find a balance in our prize purses so that they represent in some way the enthousiasm of our community.
After our first newspost where you could learn about the atmosphere during FoM (click here) follows the second part. One of the important pillars about Frag-o-Matic are the dozens of competitions being organized. These competitions are managed by the Frag-o-Matic admin team and we ensure a great prize package for each top 3 is available. The competitions during FoM are ranging from the official competitions (e-sports minded such as Call of Duty 4, Starcraft II, Counter-Strike) as well as mutiple fun competitions. Everyone can participate in the official competitions but most of the time it are those who have practised the months before the event that are placed in the top 3.
Fun competitions are contests where anyone can participate. You don't have to practise weeks before the start of the event or being fully concentrated, no, for these contests the main factor remains fun! Frag-o-Matic organizes each time a few of these competitions and next to those there are others organized by participants or FoM partners. Some examples of fun competitions from previous edition are: keyboard throwing compo, bull riding, horror quiz, wallpaper compo, etc.
