After announcing our FIFA competition yesterday we can now announce the official SAPPHIRE Starcraft II competition.
SAPPHIRE provides us with some great prizes for the top 3 with the first prize being a Sapphire Edge HD2 Mini PC! Also Steelseries and Iiyama joins the SC2 action, they provided some nice prizes too! This brings the total competition value at €1500 worth of products!

For the first time in the history of Frag-o-Matic 14.0, we will be offering lockers for rent.
You can rent a locker for the entire weekend and use this to store some (small) valuable possesions, like your external hard drive, wallet, headset, mouse or cell phone to make sure that you don't loose those items (e.g. when you go to sleep).
1 locker measures 30 cm x 30 cm x 45 cm.
You can rent a locker only during the event at our helpdesk. A locker for the entire weekend will cost € 5.00 and a deposit of € 5.00 (so you pay € 10.00 and when you return the key at the end of the event you'll get € 5.00 back).
There will only be a limited number of lockers available (90), so first come, first served!
The official FIFA 12 competition will be sponsored by MSI. Thanks to MSI we are raising the competition value from €400 up to €1000!
Battling for the first place has never been so important. MSI is sponsoring the first place winner with a brand new MSI GE620-023NL gaming laptop worth of €1000! For our 2nd and 3rd place winner we will be providing some games and goodies.
For this competition we will be setting up a huge spectacle! The finalists will be playing the finals on stage with the high-end gaming PC's provided by Tones.be! Every participant will be able to follow the livestreams on our HD beamers.

We're finalizing the first version of our new competition system, which will be used during the upcoming edition of Frag-o-Matic. One of the new possibilities of our system is the feature to open the registrations before the start of our event.
In this regard we are proud to announce that the registrations of our official competitions are now open!
For starters, some guides on the registration phase. To register for a compo you should create a team (so not the clan which you can configure in your profile) even when it is a 1v1 compo (like FIFA or Trackmania Nations: Forever), as team name you can just use your player name.
This team registration should only be done by 1 person per team (e.g. a team leader).
After the registration of the team you can assign members to your team.
You can access your teams through the profile menu on the upper site menu and choose 'Compos' or go directly to: http://www.fom.be/teams

Frag-o-Matic Space edition without a single soul dressed up like Yoda, Spock or the classic green alien is like a bar without any beer. FoM has put a lot of time and effort into decorating our hall, giving you a unique space experience.
This atmosphere can only be at its finest when we may welcome 800 aliens! Everyone who dresses up will automatically participate in our costume party. The best dressed person will receive a nice packet of prizes! A packet that will be all worth it!

Gameservers.com, which is known for over 7 years for their powerful gameservers,

These gameservers will be available for all BF3 clans participating in the official compo.
The settings of the servers will be approached as close as possible to the standards of ESL / CB.
These servers are not on advance request, and will only be used in the officially compo's.

We currently suspended the ticket sale for Frag-o-Matic 14.0.
We're doing this because almost all tickets have been sold. On top of that we also still have a large number of open orders, awaiting payments.
So we decided to temporarily close the order process for new orders. Persons with an open order can still make their payments so they can receive their tickets, but they should hurry up.
We understand that some people might still not have their tickets while others in their clan already have. If at least 3 members of your team have paid tickets, and there are still team members who didn't get change to place an order, please contact tickets@fom.be
If we would notice that there will still be tickets left, we'll communicate this through our website, and we'll then use the first come, first served policy.
Also an important remark: we might have to do some adjustments to the seatmap to make sure that we can use all the available seats. So in order to make room we might move some teams to other spots to make room for others. Please make sure that each of the clanmembers has indicated the right clan in his profile, so we can make sure that all the members can sit next to each other.
Like every year, there will be a wide choice of food and beverage on the event. These are found at bar “Den Ownage”.
There is a wide assortment of snacks, sandwiches, home-made pizzas and of course our legendary FoM-Dogs will also be back on the menu this edition. There are also some new additions to this year’s menu.
Like usual there will be breakfast in the morning and a special addition to the menu on Saturday evening. This year this will be Fajita’s.

Good news for our Battlefield 3 fans! This compo which was first going to be a funcompetition is now changed to an official competition with at least €400 products!

This is the only adjustment in our competition list. Every other competition continues like planned before.
We've almost reached a full house and the only 12 days until the start of Frag-o-Matic 14.0.
This means that we soon won't be accepting any new payments. If you still didn't pay for your ticket and you want to pay through bank transfer, you should do so before Saturday February 11! We won't accept any payments through bank transfer after that date.
After Saturday you can only obtain tickets in presale if you pay through PayPal. The final date for these payments will be communicated later on.
However, keep in mind that if you haven't bought a presale ticket, you can only buy tickets at the entrance at the event. If there are any tickets left at that time, these will be sold at € 50.00 each.
We strongly suggest to obtain your tickets now, because this is the only way to be sure that everyone of your team will have access and that everyone can sit next to each other on our seatmap.

Tones.be, the well known hardware shop from Belgium with establishments in Ghent, Mechelen and Heist o/d Berg will be present at our upcoming event. Tones.be will have wide variëty of products available such as network cables and power cables. Next to that they will be capable to do some PC repairing as well.
They will be organising a BF3 funcompetition as well where you can win some BF3 hardware products! More details of this competition will follow soon.
Not a fan of FPS shooters? Tones.be will bring some playseats as well where you can show your racing skills to your friends!
Tones.be provides FoM in coöperation with Corsair 10 high-end killer gaming PC's where you will be able to play some of the newest games. You can find these PC's next to the Tones booth. These PC's will be up and running from fridayevening until saturday evening. You can come play on those whenever you want.
On Sunday that the PC's will be moved towards the stage where they will be used for our stage finals from some of our official competitions.
Within roughly two weeks, the doors of the biggest gaming festival of Belgium will open its doors again. For 3 days straight we'll be welcoming gamers from the Benelux and way beyond! Behind all this there is an organization of motivated volunteers who work day and night to make sure that every edition is a huge success. Without these volunteers it is impossible to organize these events.
In order to let everything run smoothly this edition as well, we're still looking for helping hands!

Just like every edition we will have a console corner at Frag-o-Matic. In this console corner you can relax after a tough match, or just enjoy a console compo with your friends.
Also a small change of plans: since Gamegear.be will be organizing a Mortal Kombat compo on their booth, we won't be hosting a Mortal Kombat compo as well. Instead we'll hold a Streetfighter 4 competition on the Xbox360

There seems to be some confusion among a whole lot of participants who recently placed an order and this night received an e-mail stating that their order was automatically cancelled.
Because we changed the price of the tickets from € 35.00 to € 40.00 today (as we announced earlier on our website), all the existing open orders were automatically cancelled and those emails were sent out.
However, if you paid for your order before today (February 1st), we will still accept the payments for tickets sold at € 35.00 each. For example: if you ordered and paid your ticket yesterday, and your payment reaches us through bank transfer tomorrow or the day after, we will still accept your order.

To request a gameserver: you may fill in this form if you have bought a ticket.
If your serverrequest is validated, you will receive your serverdetails by mail. During the event you can also get your details from the servercrew.
Today is the last day to pay only € 35.00 per ticket. Starting from tomorrow, tickets will be sold for € 40.00 per ticket.
Even if your payment doesn't reach us today, but it was sent to us before February 1st; we will charge only € 35.00 .
So if you're sure that you'll be attending the biggest gaming event of the year, and you don't have tickets yet, now is the time!
Also keep in mind that if there should be any tickets left when the event starts (which wasn't the case the previous edition), these will be sold for € 50.00 each.
