To avoid long waiting lines at the catering checkout, Frag-o-Matic works with a catering-ticket system. On the event you can buy catering-tickets for 10 EUR which contain 20 squares worth 0,5 EUR per square. When you order something from the catering, the number of boxes that correspond with the value of your order will be marked out. From Sunday afternoon until the end you can also pay in cash.
People who bought at least 5 group tickets in presale can receive one or more catering vouchers. They can get them at the helpdesk.

A couple of editions ago, we started the concept of FoMCON, a small scale gaming venue that allows companies to showcase their newest games, gadgets, hardware and other PC equipment, and/or support competitions for their games. This edition is no different, as there will be a couple of companies present with cool activities and competitions!
This gaming venue takes place at the same time as our LAN event and visiting is free of charge.
The following is a small list of the attending partners, as well as some important dates such as the start of a couple of competitions and activities. In the coming days we will announce part 2 of our schedule with some more partners who attend FoMCON!
Electronic Arts is an international game developer and publisher of dozens of games. One of the biggest game companies will be present at Frag-o-Matic! You can find their booth next to the compo desk. The booth is divided in a gaming zone and a lounge zone. In the lounge zone you can relax in some comfortable seats and bean bags after your gaming sessions, or you can read through a couple of magazines.
In the gaming zone you can play several unreleased or just released titles:
Gamegear.be is a known FoM partner who have worked with FoM for several years already. You'll be able to discover all the latest headsets, keyboards and mousepads!
Paradox Interactive is a Swedish game developer and publisher who already have a couple of top game titles in their portfolio. During FoM the participants and visitors have a chance at winning one of the 40 PC keys for Steam, including Magicka, Crusader Kings II and many others!
The known magazines PC Magazine and Clickx will be available for all of our participants. You can find them on different locations across the hall like the entrance, EA Lounge, etc.
In less than two hours the maximum team limit was already reached for the exclusive Medal of Honor: Warfighter competition! Participants will be able to showcase their skills in the gamemode called Homerun.
Homerun is a gametype where there are two teams: the attackers and the defenders. Both teams have different objectives to accomplish:

Friday September 7th is the last day that you can pay a late entry ticket through bank transfer. After Friday, you can only pay your late entry ticket through Paypal until September 11th.
If there are still empty places left, than you can buy a ticket when you arrive at FoM at the entry for 50 EUR.
Remark: some clans think that it is not possible anymore to sit next to each other. This is wrong. If you take a free seat then the locked seat next to it will be unlocked automatically. This way, there are still some rows where clans can sit next to each other. If you get lost somehow in the check/in procedure and you are not able to pick the seats that you want, just send a mail to info@fom.be and we will fix it for you.
Visitors. That means people without PC or portable, who are not taking part in the competitions, don't need a ticket. They just need to pass registration at the entrance. Visitors are not allowed to stay during the night (after the stage acts).
By now you've probably all noticed: EA Belgium likes to be present during Frag-o-Matic to let all the participants get a look at some of their up and coming hit games! This edition will be no different, but now they will be attending with their own EA Booth, between the crew area and the Tones booth. What you'll exactly be able to do at their booth will be announced shortly, but first we wanted to announce the following news!
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is the newest Medal of Honor game, releasing on the 23rd of October 2012. The people who won't be attending FoM 14.1 will be out of luck: all FoM participants will be able to play this game earlier since we are organizing a 4v4 fun competition in collaboration with EA and Tones! Not only will you be able to play and watch this game in the blood-chilling local multiplayer gamemode at FoM, this is actually a Benelux first! To top it all off, EA will provide the winners with some great prizes!
This competition will take place in a separate area, outfitted with 10 gaming PC's supplied by the popular PC shop Tones! The MoH area will be between the Tones booth and the Gamegear booth -- yes, this means that the MoH area is on a stage, complete with a MoH setting decor!

The winners will take home a Limited Edition of Medal of Honor: Warfighter, on a platform of their choice! This game will be delivered to your home at the official release date. Included in this limited edition is, among others, a cool T-shirt and access to the Battlefield 4 beta (2013)!

Game enthusiasts better head to Bobbejaanland this weekend for all the latest games and latest technology from the gaming world. Besides the 50 attractions are the largest game publishers and hardware manufacturers with their tents for 3 days in the most pleasant place in Lichtaart. For the second year in a row Steven Leunens organizes Gameland: "Obviously Gameland is a highlight for gamers, but also people who are less concerned with games, will come to their needs. All attractions Bobbejaanland are just open and for the opportunity we have certain attractions in a new packaging aswell. There will be so much more to see during Gameland than just games. "

With more than 15,000 visitors, the first edition was a great success. Therefore, a third day added to the program. In addition, the organization managed every big name in the gaming world to be present. These names already confirmed their attendance: EA Games, Nintendo, Playstation, Intel, LowLandLions, Madcatz, 4Gamers, Tones.be, Gamegear.be, Kingston Technology, Namco Bandai, CoolerMaster, Gigabyte, Tt eSports, SteelSeries, Private Game Room, Howest Winfakt ! and Transposia. There are also some games for the first time in the Benelux will be on display, including FIFA 13, Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, Need For Speed: Most Wanted. It is possible that this list be expanded in the coming weeks. There are also several media partners including Studio Brussel. The program Maxx will broadcast live on saturday from Gameland. Roland Kleve, CEO of Bobbejaanland, sees Gameland all respects like to return: "Bobbejaanland wants much more than just an amusement park. Therefore we like to open our doors for special events like this. After the success of last year, we are delighted that we can again work with the organizers of GameLand. "
Gaming4life
Also Charlotte Van Brabander, known as gamer and poker player, will make her debut during GameLand. She comes along for her project Gaming4life which she raises money for the Children of Ghent University Hospital. With the money Charlotte wants to buy consoles, games and other equipment for the chronically ill children to have a more enjoyable live. On Saturday, September 8 Charlotte comes with some patients to Gameland to have one special day. Depositing money for the charity can happen on www.gameland.be/gaming4life. For every dollar deposited, Charlotte doing a Euro top.

There's nothing wrong with a simple package of fries, but it's nothing compared to this offer. You can enjoy a wide range of fresh vegetables from the buffet, complemented with bread, pasta and potato salad, multiple tasty sauces and three delicious pieces of meat: BBQ-sausage, satay-stick and spare-rib. All this for the price of only 15 EUR
The FoM-BBQ will be served by our catering service on Saturday evening between 7pm and 9pm. It is essential to book your BBQ ticket now because we have to pass through all the orders in advance. If you are logged in and you have a valid FoM ticket, then you can find the option "BBQ on Saturday evening?" under "Tickets" below your nick name on the right side of the top-level menu on the FoM-website. To book your BBQ-ticket, just tick this option. It's that simple.
The people who have pre-booked can collect and pay their BBQ-Ticket at the bar at FoM until Saturday 12am. After 12am, bookings will be void and the remaining BBQ-tickets will be sold to everyone. Everyone who makes a booking in advance and comes to collect their ticket on time, gets one extra drink consumption on top of the offer.

Stand-up comedian William Boeva:
Only 1m37 tall on his left side and 1m42 tall on his right side William Boeva is the funniest dwarf of the Benelux! Armed with a 5cm big quiff, a hip replacement and lots of jokes he went to the comedy cafe called The Joker in Antwerp (2009) although with a bad ending. Nonetheless he wanted more after his first appearance!
Attending the Get up, Stand up' initative for young comedians in 2010 he managed to win the 123 Comedy Award and became the public favorite at the Culture Comedy Award and staged during one of Belgium's biggest music festivals called Pukkelpop.
After his many achievements in 2010 William is a well known comedian in Belgium and is one of the favorite guests during line-up programs in the stand-up comedy circuit.
With a bigger mouth than his length William gives his own view of the world. He wants that the people get to know his species cause maybe there aren't that many differences between.

Within a few weeks, the doors of the biggest gaming festival of Belgium will open its doors again. For 3 days straight we'll be welcoming gamers from the Benelux and way beyond! Behind all this there is an organization of motivated volunteers who work day and night to make sure that every edition is a huge success. Without these volunteers it is impossible to organize these events.
Volunteers are participants or other people who come to help us for a few hours, they get:
