From this moment, the ticket sale for Frag-o-Matic 14.1 has started, so head to the FoM webshop and purchase your tickets! As a small reminder: FoM 14.1 will welcome 1000 participants from 14-16 September 2012 in Wieze (Belgium).
We also are honoured to reveal the theme of the upcoming edition: Frag-o-Matic 14.1: Boxing!
So make sure to bring your boxing gloves and cheering boxing babes, because we're expecting nothing less than a knock-out!
Like the previous edition, there are different payment periods. The first one, 'Early Bird' starts today and ends June 31st. During this first payment period, individual and group tickets are sold for a reduced price of € 30.00 per ticket! More information about the different ticket types, payment periods can be found here.
Also, like previous edition, we'll be offering a very limited number of VIP tickets. Only 24 tickets are available, where we assign tickets based on the first received payments.
Get ready to rumble!
Tomorrow (May 1st) we'll start the ticket sale for Frag-o-Matic 14.1. This edition we'll be welcoming 1000 participants, including a number of VIPs! After the success of the previous edition of our VIP concept, we'll offer this edition again VIP packages for a happy few. We limit the number of available VIP tickets to 24; on a first come, first served basis! VIP tickets will be sold at €75,00 per ticket.
As a VIP you can enjoy exclusive, comfortable seats on a podium with a unique view on the event hall. In addition to their PC, VIPs can bring a console and 2 monitors. Click here for a full overview of all the features the VIP package offers and a comparison with other types of tickets.
Next to the VIP tickets, the regular ticket sale will also start. during the first 'Early bird'-period, these tickets will be sold at €30,00/ticket.
A small reminder, FoM 14.1 will take place from 14 - 16 September 2012 (more information).
So how did you all like our little prank? The only (?) thing which we can already confirm from our prank teaser is the date of Frag-o-Matic 14.1: 14 - 16 September 2012.

After the tonns of enthousiastic reactions after FoM 14.0 in February, we are proud to announce the next edition of Frag-o-Matic. The next edition of the biggest gaming festival of the Benelux will take place from 14th - 16th of September, 2012!

While FoM is hard at work with the preparations of the next edition (more info on this will follow very soon), there are dozens of other gaming events in Belgium.
One of those is the Alt3rnate Gaming LAN that takes places in the weekend of the 14-16th of April. It'll be their first edition ever, organized with compo's such as League of Legends, CS:S and Starcraft 2! Next to that, they'll also have a sweet console corner with PS3 and Wii games! The registrations are open until the 2nd of April (*) so make sure you register fast! You can always try your chances by competing in this FoM competition to win a ticket:
Frag-o-Matic will be giving away 5 tickets, worth of €20 each! The only thing you need to do is send a mail to info@fom.be with your name, nickname and your game preference. The winners will be selected at random, so fingers crossed!

This newspost is only meant for people who attended FoM 14.0.
Like every past edition, we would like to know your thoughts about our recent LAN party. With your opinions in mind we can improve our Frag-o-Matic lanparties and adjust them to the needs of our participants. That's why we ask you to fill in our survey that only will take a few minutes of your time.

We did it again: 3 crazy days filled with kick-ass gaming, exciting competitions, hardware throwing, testing out the newest and future games at FoMCON, chilling at the bar, and all of this layered with our space theme.
With over € 10.000 of prizes, both in cash and hardware, there was a lot of strong competition going on between participating teams. An overview of our competitions and the winners, can be found here.
But FoM isn't just about competitive gaming, we also saw many clans just participating to play games and have fun with friends.
While we are still trying to enjoy every minute of sleep we can, we see many FoM after movies and pictures being published across the world wide web. To make sure everyone can look back at the past 3 days, we would like to ask to upload or link your Frag-o-Matic 14.0 movies and pictures on our forum.
We also want to thank all our sponsors and partners for bringing this event to life. Without them these kinds of events simply wouldn't be possible. Big thanks to Teekay-421 and Rebel Legion Benelux Base for giving us the Star Wars look and feel!

Trackmania Grand Final
De Trackmania finale werd gespeeld door 4 spelers van top-niveau, Spam, Nielos, bAp en Koenz. Ondanks de vele server problemen tijdens de eerste matches was het toch wel een spannende finale geworden waarin Spam en Koenz de leiding hadden en vochten om de 1e & 2e plaats. bAp en Nielos speelden beide zeer goed, maar Spam en Koenz deden het net iets beter.
Spam en Koenz bleven de gehele finale zeer dicht bij elkaar qua punten, Spam werd als eerste finalist waarna hij nog 1 keer als eerste moest finishen en veroverde zo de eerste plaats in de Trackmania compo. Niet veel later was de tweede plaats bekend en die was voor Koenz.
Daarna ging de strijd verder tussen bAp en Nielos om de 3e plaats, Nielos had voorsprong op bAp maar maakte een paar ongelukkige foutjes waarna bAp gelijk kwam te staan met Nielos en niet veel later als eerste finalist werd. De ronde daarna finishte Nielos als eerste en werd ook finalist. Zo ging de laatste ronde van start, wie toen als eerste finishte werd 3e, na een spannende race lukte het bAp om als eerste te finishen en behaalde zo de 3e plaats. Good game!

Unlike last edition, this FOM will be a 100% Walloon clash. It already seemed at the start that 60% our of registered participants were walloon and that this would most likely be a Walloon party with SYPHER leading for several editions now. With Ceritus being eliminated by Wallons5 as last flemish team we will witness a rather one sided game in the final our a total Surprise from Wallons5? Who will now, Finals are being played @ 11h00.

Omwille van tijdsdruk gaan we de halve finales van BO3 terug brengen naar BO1 zodat de finale op het geplande uur (13.00) van start kan gaan.
Matches in de halve finale die nog gespeeld moeten worden zullen BO1 zijn,
Bijna alle matchen zijn gespeeld, maar nog niet allemaal! De belangerijkste wordt Zondag middag om 13:00u gespeeld. Hieronder vindt je alle nodige info.

Kort verslag, Trackmania consolation final
De trackmania consolation final werd net gespeeld door Nielos, bAp, Lientje en Gotcha. Jammer genoeg kunnen er maar 2 spelers doorgaan naar de grand final en de strijd voor de eerste 2 plaatsen ging vooral tussen bAp en Nielos.
De eerste rondes gingen niet zo goed voor bAp en zo heeft Nielos toch wat voorsprong gekregen, toch heeft bAp wat later in de wedstrijd zijn punten terug omhoog kunnen krijgen waarna hij als eerst finalist werdt. De ronde erna werd Nielos finalist wat zorgde voor een toch wat spannende consolation final.
Beiden hebben ze de laatste ronde dicht bij elkaar blijven rijden maar bAp finishte als eerste en werd zo winnaar van de consolation final.

Dear Gamers,
unfortunately we have gamers on the lan who have problems with lag and discconects this results in different problems in the compo schedule.
because of this problems we will redirect all league of legends gameport to a seperatly interletline, because of this all players who are active on league of legends will get a disconnect.
Please do not play any compo matches and fun games at this time, as long as we don't announce that the connection is okay.

All experienced FoM'ers know that you can't have a Frag-o-Matic LAN without a good Paincompo. Obviously, this time won't be any different. For the uninitiated: our infamous FoM Paincompo is basically a compo where you can prove how masochistic (or just plain senseless) you really are!
Previous editions of our Paincompo include being smacked on your bottom with power extension cords, trying to grab coins from an electrified treasure chest, and eating maggots and other related delicacies.
