We have given extra attention to our smaller fun competitions so we can provide them with nice and decent products. In the coming 2 weeks we will announce all of the prizepools for these fun competitions. We start with our TTesports Worms competition.

Larian Studios, one of the bigger Belgian game studios will be one of our partners for FoM 16.0! Last year our participants could try at their booth the PC game: "Dragon Commander", back then still in beta. The game has been released some time ago and many gamers enjoy the game with lots of RTS, RPG and some board game elements!
Larian Studios are giving our exclusive group of VIPs a nice present! Our VIPs receive the boxed PC version of Dragon Commander worth €40!
Next to that great contribution from Larian Studios they will provide the latest build of their ongoing project Divinity: Original Sin. After being sold out completely and starting a waiting list, we are now announcing that it is of no use to mail for a spot on the waiting list. We have already had about 200 requests for the waiting list.
The people who have already mailed and got a confirmation that they're on the waiting list will get a mail with an announcement stating whether they can buy a ticket or not somewhere next week. So there is no point in sending a mail regularily to ask for the status on your ticket request.
Due to the success of the ticket sales we would like to point out that if you buy a ticket from another person or on the black market, that the ticket may be blacklisted or counterfeit. This means that you will not be able to enter the LAN with this ticket. For more information on how our ticketing system works, go to: Ticketing procedure.
As of now you can register for our competitions! Some competitions have a limit for the amount of participating teams, so be sure to register quickly! You can register yourself for a competition by clicking in the tab 'Tournaments' on top of our website.
We'd like to remind you all again that participants can only participate in 1 Grand competition, 1 Normal competition and all Fast/Fun competitions to make sure all schedules will go according to plan.
We're working together with our partner Prog4mer for the League of Legends 5vs5 and the Starcraft II 11v1 competitions. You'll have to register yourself on http://www.prog4mer.be to participate in those competitions.

As mentioned earlier there will be a few changes this year.
One of the changes will be a more stable time schedule for the CS:GO compo.
Everyone has to start at the scheduled start time.
if the opposite team is not present before the indicated start time (the entire team) forfeit can be requested.
This forfeit only counts when the scores aren't on the FoM website before the deadline.
Most importantly is that the scores are filled in on the FoM website before the scheduled deadline.
(Important: the scores will not be placed on the Progamer website anymore)
If the scores aren’t on the FoM website before the deadline, a forfeit will be given.
In other words, we won’t come asking for scores.
Starting times imply: being present on the server with your entire team at the scheduled time, preferably 5 minutes in advance because the veto starts on the start time.
If 2 teams are able to play earlier than the indicated time, then naturally you are allowed to play earlier (when both teams have agreed to this and have given notice to the admin).
End Times (deadlines ) imply: points haven’t been received before the indicated end time = forfeit for both teams (in case there are no technical difficulties)
The following time schedule is based on our maximum of 32 teams with 8 pools of maximum 4 teams.
Pool matches start 23:00 Friday sharp and end 13:00 Saturday.
3 pool matches (BO1):
1st match: starts 23:00 Friday, end Saturday before the opening show 00:15
2nd match: starts 9:00 Saturday, end 10:00
3rd match: starts 10:15 Saturday, end 11:30
Saturday noon everyone will have a 1:30 lunch break.
Brackets start 13:00 Saturday with 16 teams in the winners bracket.

Starting from this edition of Frag-o-Matic, you will be able to find all the compo news on a different page: Tournament News. You can find this page under the menu item Tournaments > News; or just click on this link: Tournament News.
We hope that this will make all the compo related news easier to find instead of it being 'cluttered' inbetween other newsposts.
We are impressed by the large demand for tickets this edition of FoM. And we regret to announce to those who didn't order a ticket yet that the stock of remaining tickets has decreased to zero at this moment. That means that you cannot order a ticket anymore on the website.
If you already placed an order for a ticket, then you still have time to pay. But be aware that bank payments do not go instantly and if you pay today, your payment will only reach us in a few days. If you did not pay your order yet, do it now, because we will cancel every order which takes longer than 7 days to process payments, so that we may be able to open up a few tickets for people on the waiting list.
Tickets that will come available through cancelled orders and repayments (if you do not want to come, we will repay you), will be made available for people on the waiting list. To get on the waiting list, send a mail to waitinglist@fom.be containing:

For those who are missing out this time, I can only give one advice: don't hesitate next edition to order your tickets and do it as soon as possible.

Registration competitions
As previously announced, the LoL 5vs5 and SCII 1vs1 will be handled by our partner Prog4mer. The registrations have already started so go and have a look. All of the other competitions will run through our platform. These registrations will open soon.
FUN activities & competitions
This edition we will be organising tons of fun activities and contests! These competitions and activities will mainly involve our theme 'Airborne'. A detailed list of all these activities will be announced on a later date! You can expect a decent prize pool for these activities too.
Contest organised by participants
We would like to inform everyone that it's allowed to organise your own competition during our LAN for any game. We allow everyone to make use of the competition platform. Please visit the compodesk during the event to gain further information of the competition platform and to announce your own organised competition throughout the hall to attract more participants. In case there are prizes left we will assign them according to the most popular ones first.

A relativily newcomer to the gaming scene is X2, the gaming brand from Spire. X2 will sponsor us this edition with some nice products for our competitions.

Last edition in September we had a massive prizepool for our competitions. For this edition we are working hard to gain the same amount of prizes (and it looks promising so far!). One of our sponsors that are making this happen is Fractal Design. Many of you already know Fractal Design due to its presence at FoM for several editions now. They will deliver high quality cases for various tournaments such as Fifa, Trackmania and a few fun tournaments.

Seatmap reservations will be opened for everyone on Tuesday, January 14th at 22pm. If you already have a ticket, then you can make a seat reservation. (click on the "seats" icon on the right side of this web page, under "quick links")
Do this by clicking on a white square on the seat map. Brown squares are locked. When you reserve a white square, the brown square next to it will be unlocked and becomes white. Your best friend or clanmate will then be able to reserve it and sit next to you. The black squares are disabled and will not be unlocked automatically. These are rows which will open only after a predefined number of tickets have been sold or which have been disabled for technical reasons.
Teams can always send a mail to seatmap@fom.be to reserve seats for the whole team. This is usefull for teams where everybody buys their own ticket through the webshop. If only 1 person buys tickets for the whole team, then he can reserve al the necessary seats through his account, this will save you a lot of time & effort. If you send a mail for assistance of an admin, please mention very clear the seat numbers and associated nick names (f.e. A1 - TheKiller, A2 - TheVictim). Admins can only reserve seats for valid tickets. Teams don't have to wait until the reservations are open. You can send a mail right now if you have >= 5 valid tickets.
If you have reserved a seat, please don't assume that this reservation is final. Admins can still kick your reservation and give you a new seat. This is important near the end of the reservation period to make sure that random white squares come together to make room for extra teams. That's why it is important that you select the right clan in your profile. Admins will always make sure that players of the same clan will be seated next to each other, and will not kick your reservation or change it to a random spot on the other side of the seatmap if you have the same clan in your profile as the people with seats next to you (or he would have to replace the whole team...). This edition every clan will have a separate colour on the seatmap. If you notice that the seat of your clan member has another colour, then please ask him to update his clan in his user profile.
For the few lucky bastards who have a VIP ticket (sold out): our VIP manager will contact you to select your seats. Our VIP manager is always happy to be at your service and will give you an extra big table and a comfortable chair with a super soft pillow :-)

Next to the support of these competitions they are providing us €1500 to be used as prizemoney. More information about the prizes and the distribution will be announced very shortly.
All the other competitions will be organised through our own competition system. Last year we already worked with this system once and we received a lot of feedback from the participants and the crew. Our software crew have been improving this system a lot and it will go online very soon.
